Ginny Andrews

I have been with the gym for 5 years, mustering up 1,230 sessions!

Over this time, I have managed to lose over a stone in weight and 19 inches in much needed areas. My body fat issues have been addressed successfully, thanks to the weigh-in results that I have each month. I am pleased to say that I have lost 5% body fat and feel much healthier because of it.

The gym has many attributes including fantastic coaches, who always encourage the best out of us, fun competitive challenges aimed at getting us to perform to the best of our abilities in a fun way and various classes to suit all needs and abilities.

I have many new friends in the time that I have been to the gym and, no matter what time of day you choose to go, there is always a great camaraderie between the members who are working out.

Recently, I have been trialling the ‘Myzone’ belt. I am finding it a fantastic way to push myself that little bit more, along side others who have also been trialling it. That competitive spirit in me wants to do better each day now and there is a friendly rivalry between us as well! A great addition to the gym.

I have been a member of Curves Petersfield for 11 years, usually attending 3 times a week.

I have always found it to be friendly, fun and a time to exercise and keep the joints and muscles moving, also stimulates the grey cells!

Despite knee problems, there is much that can still be achieved and the lovely coaches are always helpful, understanding and encouraging.

Now in my eighties, I hope to continue and look forward to more happy workouts at Gym & Tonic, which I thoroughly recommend.

I enjoy coming to the gym, I find it a great place to exercise which is very friendly.

I tend to really enjoy the organised classes including Boxercise and Bootcamp, as these really push me.

I am currently using the “Myzone” heart rate monitor and app.I find these exceptional tools to assist my progress and a great way to enhance my fitness.
